# Gap Analysis — Operations

These 5 questions CANNOT be answered from your Jira export, Confluence extract, and Workato export alone. They require access to systems without MCP connectors.

1. **Which automated recipes failed in the last 24 hours, and what triggered the failures?**
This requires: Workato (recipe editor) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Workato directly and look it up manually.

2. **What is the current status in Slack for your open cases this week?**
This requires: Slack (workflow triggers) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Slack directly and look it up manually.

3. **What is the delivery status and scheduled date for the pending terminal orders?**
This requires: Zuper (supply chain) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Zuper directly and look it up manually.

4. **What do the general ledger entries show for the reconciliation variances you identified?**
This requires: SAP (financial corrections) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into SAP directly and look it up manually.

5. **What would a complete view look like?**
Combining data from Workato, Slack, Zuper, SAP, plus your existing 3 sources, would give you a 360° view. Which of these gaps causes the most pain in your daily work?

**Reflection:** The value of MCP is that it eliminates manual lookups for connected systems. The gap systems listed above represent the manual work that remains. Which one would save you the most time if connected?
