# Gap Analysis — Finance

These 5 questions CANNOT be answered from your Jira export, Confluence extract, and SAP export alone. They require access to systems without MCP connectors.

1. **What is the current balance and pending transfer status across your settlement accounts?**
This requires: Bank portals (Citi, BKC, Modulr) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Bank portals directly and look it up manually.

2. **What do the accounting entries show for the unreconciled items in your report?**
This requires: Solar (accounting system) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Solar directly and look it up manually.

3. **What does your Finance dashboard show for this week's KPIs?**
This requires: Tableau (settlement dashboard) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Tableau directly and look it up manually.

4. **What are the latest scheme bulletin changes that affect your fee structure?**
This requires: Scheme portals (fee detail) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Scheme portals directly and look it up manually.

5. **What would a complete view look like?**
Combining data from Bank portals, Solar, Tableau, Scheme portals, plus your existing 3 sources, would give you a 360° view. Which of these gaps causes the most pain in your daily work?

**Reflection:** The value of MCP is that it eliminates manual lookups for connected systems. The gap systems listed above represent the manual work that remains. Which one would save you the most time if connected?
