# Gap Analysis — Accounting

These 4 questions CANNOT be answered from your Jira export, Confluence extract, and SAP export alone. They require access to systems without MCP connectors.

1. **What do the general ledger entries show for the reconciliation variances you identified?**
This requires: SAP (direct GL access) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into SAP directly and look it up manually.

2. **What is the current balance and pending transfer status across your settlement accounts?**
This requires: Bank portals (payment confirmation) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Bank portals directly and look it up manually.

3. **What is the current status in Vendor portals for your open cases this week?**
This requires: Vendor portals (statement reconciliation) — no MCP connector available.
Today you would: log into Vendor portals directly and look it up manually.

4. **What would a complete view look like?**
Combining data from SAP, Bank portals, Vendor portals, plus your existing 3 sources, would give you a 360° view. Which of these gaps causes the most pain in your daily work?

**Reflection:** The value of MCP is that it eliminates manual lookups for connected systems. The gap systems listed above represent the manual work that remains. Which one would save you the most time if connected?
